August Saturday 21 1886

Hazy dull morning. Remained
at home. Carry & Puss went
for an early drive, & called to
inquire for Young Higgins, the
Wards & at Fairfield. J.W.T. & John
paid us a visit, Frank & Puss
went to Mrs. Drakes picnic. Carry
& I were to have gone with the Admiral
to fish, but it came on to rain

Sunday 22

Transfer Carriage
We all went to St. Johns
Revd. Jenns Officiated & Preached
Sir M B. dined with us – Capt Lewis
called to say the Minister of Marine
Mr Foster wished to see me tomorrow.
Brian Drake the Brealeys & Tilter
called. Also the Admiral who went to Cathedral with Puss & Carry & returned
to have some supper.
