Still seedy not able to go
out, T. Ellis called unexpectedly
having returned from Frisco yesterday.
Capt Lewis & Green came out
to say the Douglas could not be
ready before Thursday.
J.W.T. also called complaining
of not being able to get away in Douglas

Sept. Wednesday 1

Heathorns building Govt. St.
burned down –
Frank & Lang R.E. went out to
shoot at 5. A.M they met Green
& worked together all the day
Still seedy – slightly better
Telephone from Lewis to say
the Douglas would not be ready
before Friday evening.
