Corn Meal

15 lb bag

2 table spoonfuls mixed with cold milk into a paste –
pour a quart of scalding milk into it
stirring it in –
& put it on the fire =
& continue stirring until it boils for 2 or 3 m.
then sweeten with sugar or golden syrup
& pour into the baking dish –
beat up 2 or 3 eggs –
& mix with it when half cold –
a little salt a pinch
a little nutmeg
1 oz butter.
