God bless you darling and keep you ever in his love – and dont forget yr old friend here who loves you very dearly. & will always be interested in everything that concerns you & yours. Tell your Father I regretted so much not seeing him again just to “lui server la main” & wish him all that is good but I hope that will be when he comes & brings you back. I was sorry to have these ladies to lunch to-day but I only heard they were coming last night – after I had seen you. Send me a line from Queenstown if you are all right. I shd love to hear from there if yr ship is nice & what sort of passengers you have on board. I will write you at once when the promotions are out. whatever is I dont think now I have really much hope . I shall be disappted all the same! well dearest this line must go it takes a lot of love
