Dear Miss O’Reilly

What ever will you say or think of me . I have come across yr note to-day. wh I remember quite well but dear I had already gone to the country & did not receive it in time . I came back for a few days here & had a slight accident & I have only today come back again to London to this house to stay with my sister we have a few friends on Friday next 4.30 to 7. I wonder if you & Mrs Hare would come in to tea. it wd be such a pleasure to see you & hear you tell me I am not so rude as I seemed to be.
