My dearest friend

Do look in when you can. Shall you see Mrs. B. soon. I wish I could see the admiral but I did not like to go in cold blood & ask to see him. Harry went & called directly but they were out .

I dont like to fuss with him too much about it but I know soon· they decide & one cant lose time. it is simply too enraging to think there is a doubt of it even . Harry is so busy with a sick bridegroom to whom he is to be best man to-morrow !& has to do everything for him. it is too unfortunate for the poor man. & they cant get off abroad yet as they intended doing – but after that he will have time . if you are passing do look in. & let us have a talk au sujet. you are a dear kind Child

yr affectly

D. Chesterfield

I am sure to be at home to-morrow forenoon, if you are passing.
