My dearest Kathleen
I asked Harry to go & see if he cd hear anything of you. & he writes me you are in London & he hoped to see you today . You never wrote me again from Aix & I begged you to do so. naughty little girl!! now do send me a line directly & tell me how you are.what yr plans are & shall I see you in London? I go up Novr 12th that is next Monday week in 10 days I am so glad to get back. I have a lot to do that week with a wretched sale of work. but it is for such a good work the Mission to Seamen. I am President of the ladies association & for our stall I undertook the garments for the poor. I like that sort of thing best. Have you been to the opera? I hear it is wonderfully good. I long to go to it. it goes on to the end of the month I think.
I am afraid of after being so fine you have wretched weather in London here it is so damp & constant rain too & very depressing altogether. I hope yr brother is well.
Ever so much
love . yr very
affect
