Dear Mr. O’Reilly
Thank you so for writing to me I am so sorry about yr dear child whereever did she pick up measles. poor dear – but I am thankful she is going on well. Do give her my kindest love & tell her she must be very very careful not to catch cold when getting well. I do hope the wind will go out of the East soon for it is so bitter. What an annoyance for you to have to move. Will you do me a kindness & tell me yr address when you leave the Hotel & how she bore the moving her. this will be kind of you. I do so like yr dear girl & am always interested in her. May I tell you how grieved I was for all yours & her sorrow lately. I hope you & I will meet some day soon & Believe me always yrs sincerely
