Diplomatic Pudding

Decorate a plain mould with
a lining of sultanas &
pistachio nuts &
fill the outer part with jelly.

When it is set
remove the lining put putting a little warm water in it.

Make a custard with
pint milk &
y. of 4 eggs,
flavour vanilla
add ½ oz gelatine or I.
stir it into the C. when hot.

Break up 1 or 2 sponge cakes or Mac:
cut up a few candied fruits,
put in a layer of each till the M. is full,
pour in the C.
leave in a cool place till wanted.

dip M. into tepid water a second, turn it out & serve on cold dish
