night – very fine day.
Alfred & Arthur Brealey
called early & remained to
lunch. Dr. Helmcken paid
me a visit. Cornwall & JWT
called. John dined & went
with Carry Puss & Frank to a
concert at Cathedral School in
Winters Carriage. The Admiral [*1]
returned and Lieut. Horsley “Pelican”.
Friday 5
Chin returned fr. his New Year.
Carry seedy.
Bright clear warm day.
Green came early re I. R. accts
for Jany – John arrived at
noon consulted with him about
thining the shrubbery – Dr. Davie [*2]
called. Out in my chair for a
long while.
Puss went to town to inquire
for Fanny Bickford – reposted letter.
Puss lunched at Wards. Alice walked
back with her.
