Dear Miss O’Reilly
I was not able to answer your letter before as our plans were rather upset. I was going to take my mother down to Berkshire today, but the lady there has got laid up. I am going down to Herefordshire today with my eldest brother who has just returned from Nice. & my mother goes somewhere near Bath. I do not think she will be back in town before Monday week at the earliest the 23rd, not shall I. I shall have a big job getting her away by the three train. If you wrote to Egerton Gardens, her letters would be forwarded. I cant get out of her where she moves to after Bath. she never will settle anything herself. I hope your father will shake off his cold very soon – the weather seems balmier now.
Kindest regards
Yours very sincerely
Harry Stanhope
