Dear Miss O’Reilly
I arrived here last night & found your very kind present of a pair of soles which I have tried this morning, but find they go roving about too much. Its awfully kind of you to send for another pair. Thanks so much too for your letter. My neuritis arm was bothering all last week but yesterday seemed to have got tired of it, so I hope it has left off worrying, anyhow for the time. I was at a small moor in Inverness[?]Shire which my cousin Hatty Hay had taken, quite bleak, exposed, windy, & standing in the weather alright if you are out all day shooting & fishing. They all told my mother so, and she naturally (for her) insisted on going there. She arrived the evening before I left . I dent know what they will do with her as there’s no where out of doors for her to go. I’m glad your brother Frank is arriving please remember me to him. I suppose I shall visiting about in Scotland till towards the end of October. The heat wave in London I believe has at last come to an end. how cold they will feel at 70°
I hope you are well.
Yours very sincerely
Harry Stanhope
