A series of 12 letters written by Peter O’Reilly to his daughter Kit (Charlotte Kathleen) who is visiting in England.
2020 – One letter from Caroline to Kathleen, and several letters written by Kathleen from Europe were added to this collection at the time of digitization. The additional letters from February and March 1897 cover Kathleen’s presentation in Dublin and are included in chronological sequence between Peter’s letters. The remaining letters from Kathleen were added from the O’Reilly/Stanhope Correspondence 1891-1935 Collection.
Page numbers have been added to provide reference points and for clarification. Footnotes added at this time are signed “2020” for clarity. Closed brackets may indicate notations left by the original transcriptionist.
