My dearest Wife.
I have been attendance on the Govt all day with reference to my late visit to the North Coast. I have not a moment except to enclose my letter to Frank, it is not a nice one I am disappointed that I have failed to say what I intended, read it over & make it intelligable where ever you can.
I wont n0 this – it does not deserve a number, but I posted a long letter to Puss on Saturday – I saw Mr. Drummond Beaumont today just down from the ranch – he is looking wonderfully well, somewhat thin –
Joe is making his arrangements & expects to start for England sometime about 10th Oct.
The dear Wee Man will be leaving you in a few days. I will know how much you will miss him. I suppose you will soon be busy preparing for your journey across the Continent. I will try to meet you somewhere on the line. My love to the dear Kit and to all
Always your devoted loving husband
