I had intended to write more but must forgo that pleasure.
With reguard to my commissions ‘’ Send me if you can 2. Polo neck ties 46 in long, blue with white spots – Birds eye pattern, I think they are called.
I also want you to select patterns at Thresher & Glennies for 4 colour shirts – they have got my measure, the sleeves of the las I got were about 1/4 in too short – get extra cuffs for each.
Also 2 white shirts, with cuffs as above – and 6 extra cuffs for the shirts at present in wear be sure they are long than those received.
The Mater says I am not to send any further list at present, as she will send a full list later on. – I wish however that you would look out for the best and most approved knife sharpener. You will remember our difficulty in regards to Carvers. – I am sorry to say that the claret decanter we go so long ago at Capt. Han’s Sale has been broken, it was my favourite to try to select a couple of nice decanters when the Mater sends her list of glass, etc.
Our united love to the Admiral, to Carry, your Aunt & to the Davys. By the way you have not sent me. Arthur’s Photo nor your own. I fancy Frank will remain with us until about the middle of Feb.
Again my dear Kit, our fond love to you. May every blessing be yours
Your affectionate father
